If you are a fan of Android-custom Rom, but your relationship with CyanogenMod did not exist, we hasten to tell you about the project Paranoid Android, a new version of which debuted this month. Created based on the latest version of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Paranoid Android pursues the same objectives as the project AOSP - report to the end user a stable system Android, keeping the main design elements OS. Currently, Alpha-version of custom rom is available for OnePlus One, Oppo Find 5, Oppo Find 7 and Find 7S, Oppo N1, Google Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013), Galaxy Nexus (Verizon and Sprint), as well as the Nexus 10.

It is unknown whether the custom rom is available in the future for other devices, but in general prerequisites for expanding the list of smartphones and tablets are available.


The latest version of Paranoid Android has implemented the following new features:


  •     enhanced version of the system to AOSP Lollipop 5.0.2;
  •     Improved notifications;
  •     added feature quick release;
  •     expanded food menu;
  •     panel volume control is animated in the style of Material Design;
  •     Added ability to switch tracks in audio player using the volume buttons when the device is locked;
  •     Added Theme Engine of CM12;
  •     minor improvements and bug fixes.
