The design has been since it leaked drawings and custom made sleeves appeared online, many known. Thus we know that the device in size slightly higher and narrower than its predecessor, the Galaxy S5 . The phone is also quite 6.91mm thinner than 8.1 mm from the S5. Because the information did not stop, however.
The housings of Samsung's high-end devices were longstanding plastic. That was the manufacturer to be on a lot of criticism, because the competition was already switched over and wide in making metal enclosures. Now Samsung is about, because the company will provide the Galaxy S6 an aluminum jacket.
In the leaked press photo of a case maker is easy to see how that ultimately looks. It's good to see that Samsung Galaxy S6 finally step off the design that it actually had held since the Samsung Galaxy S3. With the excellent camera on the back in addition the company has created a striking design fracture.
In recent years Samsung always chose a discord in its processor offerings. Some of the devices turned on proprietary Exynos processors, while the rest of the aircraft was equipped with Qualcomm processors. That was a few years so, but now Samsung has probably chosen Qualcomm to throw out and only work with Exynos processors.
Copies of Qualcomm would in fact experiencing overheating problems, and Samsung apparently had no appetite for it. The new Galaxy S6 will appear exclusively in Exynos variant. What is this unit for further specification is less clear, but expected in any event at least 3GB of RAM and at least 32GB of internal memory.
On the screen is more leaked. That is, if we may believe the rumors, a 5-inch specimen. Likewise, for the first time a new generation Galaxy S gets a smaller screen than its predecessor. The resolution is increasing, because the Galaxy S6 goes along with the qHD trend. That means that the screen resolution is 1440 by 2560 pixels. That equates to a bizarre 587 pixels per inch, some that we did not have earlier in the Dutch market.
What is also striking is the camera. We're not sure if it's a 16 or 20 megapixel instance is, but it is clear that Samsung invests in camera quality. Excellent lens on the back is also witnessed there. What Samsung in software for us in the planning, is unfortunately still unclear.
Another notable change is that the new Samsung model allows no longer waterproof. What remains is a fingerprint scanner and a pulse reader. If we are to believe the rumors, Samsung opts for a new, better fingerprint scanner. There could be a copy get where you need to put your finger instead of sweeping along.
Besides the obligatory Samsung Galaxy S6 is probably a variant with curved edges of screen, called Galaxy S Edge. That remarkable news was discovered some time ago. It would thus after the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge the second device from Samsung that are curved edges inherits. An essential difference is that the Galaxy S Edge on both sides shown a curved edge of the screen, rather than only at one end, as with the Galaxy Note Edge .
The specifications of the Galaxy S Edge are otherwise the same as that of the Galaxy S6. The price of course not. Where a 'regular' Galaxy S6 probably inherits an MSRP of 749 euros, you have a Galaxy S Edge probably pay 949 euros. You will get 64 GB of storage, compared to the 32 GB that you find in the normal Galaxy S6.
Following Apple's introduction of Apple Pay Samsung could not stay behind. It appears to have strongly that together with Samsung Galaxy S6 wants to introduce its own payment service. Which needs to be more compatible with the current payment system than Apple Pay, so Samsung is not going to begin using NFC. Instead, it would on an as yet unknown way to make use of the magnetic stripe, which can now be found in many credit cards.
Although we do not know exactly how the system technically works, it is clear what will be the benefits of such a system. So you can with a system like Samsung Pay, provided that the course is well integrated, easy to pay with your phone. So you no longer need wallet, because that role has been fulfilled by your phone.
Samsung delivered its phones in recent times with more and more new apps. At one time it was even a bit too much. It was high time that Samsung put the knife in the standard installed apps. Galaxy S6 will also apps like S Voice, S Translator and Story Album not found. At least, not on your phone. In the app store Samsung, these and other apps of course still just download.
The apps were particularly detrimental to the speed of Android. It is for this reason that Samsung has decided TouchWiz completely revised in order to accelerate the operating system. Samsung would include targeting the performance afevert the Nexus 6, which runs on stock Android.
Samsung's phones are always announced in a big way, with so-called 'Unpacked' events. We know by now almost certain that Samsung will use the planned event on 1 March to announce the Galaxy S6. The rather abstract invitation that Samsung sent into the world, late as it looks now see the side of the Galaxy S Edge.
As mentioned earlier, will the Galaxy S6 make its appearance at the Unpacked event. The price of this handset is rumored on a sloppy 749 euros. This makes Samsung's Galaxy S device most expensive ever. In comparison, the Galaxy S5 was at its introduction 699 euros. The price of 749 euro also for the 32GB version. There are also 64 GB and 128 GB versions in the making, and getting a suggested respectively 849 and 949 euros.
